Session to provide overview of technologies and architectures relevant to today’s data center interconnect deployments
- Speakers: Sander Jansen, Adtran; Dirk van den Borne, Juniper Networks; Mark Filer, Google
- Topics: High-capacity data center interconnects for cloud-scale networking
- When: Sunday, March 5, 8:30 a.m. PST
- Where: OFC 2023, San Diego Convention Center, San Diego, California, USA
Data center interconnect (DCI) architectures have undergone many changes in recent years as the demand for higher bandwidth, lower latency and improved reliability have all increased. From fiber connectivity to virtualization, DCI has evolved to become more flexible, scalable and efficient.
In this session, Sander Jansen and other industry experts will explore multiple technologies used in contemporary DCI architectures. He will also delve into system design aspects, before ending with a discussion on the latest standardization initiatives and the evolution towards 800Gbit/s pluggable coherent DWDM optics. Register now for the in-person or virtual event beginning March 5.
