Electro-photonic integrated circuits

With our activities, we build the foundation for application-specific electro-photonic integrated circuits (ePICs) on Silicon 

Areas of work include: 

  • Advanced integration concepts for photonic, RF and control functions 
  • Modulators and receivers for symbol rates of 100Gbaud or more 
  • Narrow linewidth tunable lasers and laser comb sources capable of high temperature operation 
  • Efficient integration of functions such as filters and wavelength lockers
