Mosaic One Agents

One expert, many workflows

Fiber footprints keep growing and subscribers expect problems fixed before they notice them, but the people who know your network best can only be in one place at a time. In a major outage, there are never enough of them. Someone has to find the cause, someone has to coordinate the fix and someone has to tell customers what’s going on. Mosaic One Agents gives network, customer care and business teams their own teams of AI agents to correlate the alarms, pin down the cause, stage the fix and send the updates. Your experts say what needs to happen and direct many workflows at once. The agents run on Mosaic One Fabric, drawing on data from Adtran and third-party networks, as well as deterministic intelligence such as root cause analysis. Your team decides how far each workflow is allowed to go. Every step is recorded, and no service-affecting action runs until a person approves it. Whether you use agent teams from Adtran, build your own or mix the two, your experts remain in control.

Teams that multiply your people

A workforce replaces people. A team multiplies them. Your staff stop working the queue and start directing it. They approve anything that touches service and move a workflow from sign-off to exceptions only once its results hold up. Keep your people and point them at agents. The work each person handles increases while headcount holds steady, and a three-person operation delivers like a thirty-person one.

For network operations

Instead of a wall of alarms, the engineer gets an answer: what broke, where and how many customers are out. The agent team has already tested the likely causes and dropped the ones the evidence didn’t support. The dispatch ticket is written and waits for approval. After the truck rolls, the team watches service come back street by street and closes the incident once every customer is back up.

For customer care and technical support

While the subscriber is still on the line, the agent checks everything from the OLT to the living room and ranks each problem it finds. The customer service rep can tell a fiber fault from a crowded Wi-Fi channel and read the explanation straight to the customer, so a rep in their first month handles calls that used to go to tech support. If the customer calls back, the next rep sees every check and fix.

For field operations

Up to 42% of truck rolls go out without clear evidence of the problem. Agent teams rule out factors such as weather, power, and the OLT before anyone dispatches, and plant records narrow a fiber fault to a single span. Repeat trips to the same fiber get flagged. Outages caused by utility power are identified as external power issues, so no crew gets sent. Installs are checked against the live network before the tech leaves.

For marketing and leadership

Marketers direct agent teams that find homes on fiber you’ve already built and neighborhoods ready for faster tiers. Executives start the week with the number that needs them first, such as an unusual jump in the number of truck rolls or outages running longer than normal. Executives can also see how their numbers compare with those of other operators on Mosaic One.

You decide how far each workflow goes

Each agent team works on one living object, such as an incident or a work order, and every change is logged, including who approved it. For each workflow, you choose to notify only, act with sign-off or act on exceptions only. Rebooting one ONT takes a quick confirmation. A change touching 12,000 subscribers needs approval wave by wave, and anything over your cap is blocked.

Open foundation, Adtran expertise built in

Mosaic One Agents runs on Mosaic One Fabric and calls the same governed tools over model context protocol (MCP) and REST that your own agents use. Agents look up Adtran documentation, release notes and known issues instead of guessing. Run Adtran’s agent teams, build your own or both, with Adtran continuing to extend them across broadband access and optical networks.
