ADTRAN to host interactive post-Expo sessions on the open source advancements driving the next-generation access network

HUNTSVILLE, Ala.--(SEPTEMBER 11, 2019)— ADTRAN, Inc., (NASDAQ:ADTN), the leading provider of next-generation open networking and subscriber experience solutions, today announced it will host a SCTEꞏISBE Cable-Tec Expo post-conference event featuring leading MSO technologists and thought leaders in the open source community.

“Cable MSOs continue to drive innovation and leadership in broadband service delivery, and currently, they are turning to the open source community to accelerate the creation of the next-generation cable network,” ADTRAN Head of MSO Business Development Hossam Salib said. “Our interactive session at SCTE will explore topics such as DAA aggregation, 10G and hardened R-OLTs, FDX, Generic Access Platform (GAP), mmWave, and IoT, and their impact across the headend/hub site, outside plant and connected home.”

  • "The Role of Open Networking in MSO Broadband Access and Aggregation Networks,” featuring analysts and technologists from Dell’Oro and ADTRAN.
  • Future Access Network Deployments – Starting NOW,” featuring executives and technologists from Comcast, Cox Communications, and SCTEꞏISBE among others.
  • Open Source and the Smart Home,” featuring thought-leaders and executives from Comcast, Armstrong Group, and INTEL.
