The ADTRAN ES520 enables service providers to offer packet-based information, entertainment and communications services in access networks, while re-invigorating SONET/SDH networks RPR capabilities.
The ES520 delivers efficient use of SONET/SDH bandwidth in core Metro or long-haul networks through OC-3/12/48 or STM-1/4/16 interfaces. The ES520 provides both BITS and full Stratum Timing sources.
