The E520A is a small modular platform for delivering carrier Ethernet services across an RPR network.
The E520A features an RPR ring interface operating at either 1 Gbps or 2 Gbps, and its high-capacity switching fabric and packet-processing engine ensures optimum performance with mixed speed traffic loads. The E520A supports redundant, field-replaceable power supplies and fans for enhanced reliability. This platform features eight built-in 10/100BaseT Ethernet ports and two expansion slots, which can accommodate Gigabit Ethernet and T1/E1 interfaces. |
