HDSLx and T1 Service Delivery![]() ADTRAN is the market share leader in HDSLx technology and has long been a provider of basic T1 components. Today's HDSLx technology includes HDSL, HDSL2, and HDSL4 with each technology developed to meet specific, carrier needs. ADTRAN has been a leader in standards development for HDSL2 and HDSL4 technologies by closely working with standards committees. HDSL2 and HDSL4 technologies have largely replaced T1 and HDSL (2B1Q), providing pair savings (with HDSL2) and DSL spectral compatibility. HDSL4 using four wires (two pairs) and up to three repeaters extends carrier reach beyond the Carrier Serving Area (CSA). T-Scan is a feature developed by ADTRAN for HDSLx circuits that provides the user with remote management and fault isolation capabilities. T-Scan allows provisioning, performance, and event history information to be retrieved by the test center via the Facility Data Link (FDL). In addition, Tscan can be used to determine the nature and location of faults on DS1 trouble circuits. Products by Line/Family
