The NetVanta Series of access routers offers cost-effective
connectivity between branch offices using point to point circuits. In
this application, a NetVanta 3430 router at the host site provides a
point to point T1/E1 network connection to a NetVanta 3205 at the
remote site. This application requires a T1/FT1+DSX-1 Network Interface
Module (NIM) or E1/FE1+G.703 NIM at each location to carry digital
voice and data. The DSX-1 or G.703 interface is used to drop off
digital voice to a local PBX.
