ADTRAN University
When I go to www.adtranuniversity.com I am being routed to the ADTRAN website. How can I access ADTRAN University for my training needs?
ADTRAN implemented a single-site login between the ADTRAN website (My ADTRAN) and ADTRAN University. This change enables users to quickly move between ADTRAN partner pages and training without having to login again. To access ADTRAN University, click the ADTRAN University entry point on the bottom of the page.
What is ADTRAN University?
ADTRAN University is our online training and registration campus. To participate in any of our online training, instructor-led training or ADTRAN certification programs login to ADTRAN University and enroll in the course(s) of your choice. Visit us often for all your ADTRAN product and technology training needs.
To attend training with us make sure your system meets the following requirements:
- Broadband access
- IE 6 up through 8
- Firefox 3.0 or higher
- Safari 3.0 or higher
- Flash Player 9 or higher
- Java 1.5 or higher
Note: ADTRAN University online courses are best viewed with Internet Explorer 6,7,and 8.
Why do I need to verify my java version?
In order for your training to be properly tracked on ADTRAN University, you MUST have Java 1.5 or higher.
How do I create an ADTRAN University account?
To create an ADTRAN University Account, go to www.adtranuniversity.com and select "Register an Account". If you have already logged into the ADTRAN site, you will see "Enter ADGRAN University" at the bottom of the page, if not, you will be required to login or register a new account to proceed.
I think I already have a login to ADTRAN University. How can I verify?
To verify if you have an account, go to www.adtranuniversity.com and login. If you enter an existing user and your email address is not noted as a registered user, you will get an error message indicating you should create a new account. Likewise if you select New User and enter an email address that exists in our database, you will receive an error message indicating you are an existing user.
Does my account expire?
ADTRAN University accounts do not expire; however, it may be archived due to inactivity. If your account is locked or archived, please email training@adtran.com and we will gladly reactivate your account.
What if I've forgotten my username and/or my password?
Your default username is your company email address. If you have forgotten your password, select "Forgot password?" and a temporary password will be emailed to you.
How do I view my transcript?
To view your transcript login to ADTRAN University, click on My Transcript in the left hand column. Select the course type or types you've attended and click next in the bottom right hand corner. Please check all of your transcript report settings. If you need to make a change, click Previous. To run the transcript, click "Run Transcript".
Can I get a certificate for my training?
You can print a generic certificate for online course once you have completed your course. The completed course will display in "My Elective learning" or "My Required learning" on the History tab. Open a selected course and you will see the "Print Certificate" option on the details window for the course.

How do I register for online training?
Visit ADTRAN University, find the online training event of your choice and click "Details" and then "Enroll".
I completed a Training Event but I no longer see the course or my score in My Elective Learning?
Once a course or an exam is complete, the class and associated information will move to your "History" tab located in your "My Required Learning" or "My Elective Learning" pages.
Instructor-led Training
Where do I find date and times for Instructor-led Events?
Login to ADTRAN University and click on "ILT With Open Seats" or visit www.adtran.com/training and click on instructor-led training link to view class dates/locations.
How do I enroll in a particular session?
Login to ADTRAN University and select the desired courses from the course catalog. Once you've found the training of your choice, click "Scheduled Classes" and select the event that meets your needs. Click "Enroll in this Class" to add this class to your training calendar. A confirmation email will be sent to you containing payment and location details.
How do I pay for my training?
Payment details be provided to you via email after enrolling in a class.
Where will my training be?
Most instructor-led training events are located at ADTRAN Headquarters. If a course is available elsewhere the location will be listed in the course name. For more details visit, Locations.
Where should I stay?
Suggestions are provided on our website under Locations.
Certifications
How long is my certification valid?
Certifications are valid for three (3) years.
How do I re-certify?
To re-certify you just need to take the current certification exam.
What courses do I need to take to prepare for the exam?
To prepare for the exam you should enroll and review the current suggested training for the certification.
When will I receive my certificate?
You should receive your certificate via email within ten business days.
Certification Exam
Where do I register for the certification exams?
For ASP and ATSA certifications, you can search for the exam from the Catalog or from the Quick Links found in the “ADTRAN Certification Programs” on the ADTRAN Organizer page. For ATSP, the certification exam will be available in leaner’s “My Required Learning” section upon completion of required certification training.
How do I begin the exam?1. Enroll in the exam

Once I've passed the exam when do I receive my certificate?Certifications are processed several times a week during our certification reporting cycle. You should receive your certification notification and related information in the next processing day following successful completion of exam. You should receive your certificate via email within ten business days.
Where can I view my results?
Once a course or an exam is complete, the class and associated information will move to your "History" tab located in your "My Required Learning" or "My Elective Learning" pages. Certification exams are located at ADTRAN University.
