NOTE:

Downloading T-Flash Software and Device Firmware

  1. Download the tf_v34.exe firmware upgrade bundle.
  2. Save the tf_v34.exe firmware upgrade bundle to an empty directory on your PC's hard drive.
Note: This file is self expanding, therefore, an empty directory should be used so that the files contained within will not overwrite any existing files that you may have sharing the same name.
  3. Browse the folder where the tf_v34.exe is saved. Execute the tf_v34.exe by double clicking on it. This decompresses the program files in that directory on the hard disk, including the readme.txt or read.me file.
  4. Run the SETUP.EXE file in that directory from File Manager or from the Run dialog box, and follow the onscreen instructions.
  5. Please refer to the readme.txt or read.me file for full instructions on upgrading your unit.

Note:Before attempting any firmware upgrade, document the current configuration! This will be needed if any configuration restoral problems occur.

When running the T-Flash software, before attempting to connect with the unit to be upgraded, be sure that the proper cables and connectors are in place, the serial port settings on the PC match those set in the unit and that the passcode and unit id values of the unit are entered properly in the T-Flash Unit Access list.
