Integrated T1, HDSL, HDSL2, HDSL4 (HDSLx) Services

With the HTU-C, H2TU-C, and H4TU-C (HxTU-C), the Total Access 3000 delivers costsaving DS1 level signals in both 2- and 4-wire configurations. The HTU-R, H2TU-R, and H4TU-R (HxTU-R) remote units provide testing, provisioning, and performance monitoring capabilities that address both HDSLx and DS1 interfaces. HxTU-R units are available in ADTRAN Total Access 3000 (HDSL2), standard T400, and more common T200 mechanics. They terminate local loop signals originating from the CO, providing traditional DS1 to customer equipment. A single version of HxTU-R may be used with any of several available form factors of HxTU-C units. HxTU-R units are typically span-powered, but locally powered versions are also available. In addition, with the T1-OR/NIU, Total Access 3000 can serve as a simple office repeater to deliver T1 or as an NIU.
