Integrated Switching and Routing
ADTRAN’s NetVanta 1000 Series offers two unique all-in-one network access solutions that combine the functionality of managed Layer 2 Ethernet switching and access routing into a single platform. The NetVanta 1224R and 1224STR offer 24 10/100Base-T Ethernet ports and an integral IP router with all of the routing functionality of the widely deployed NetVanta 3200. The NetVanta 1224STR also offers a single 1000Base-T Gigabit port for high-speed uplink and stacking requirements. In addition these products include a stateful inspection firewall, optional VPN, and backup capability all in a single chassis. This single-platform LAN/WAN access solution reduces the number of devices and cost associated with multi-platform solutions. |
