The Total Access 3000 HDSL Loop Support System (HLSS) provides the ultimate in DS1 performance by combining the reliability of protection switching with Forward Error Correction and TScan 2.0. In the event of a single loop failure, data switches to the remaining loop in less than 50 msec to maintain POTS calls.
