With ADTRAN’s smaRT Fiber OSP Cabinet, local service providers can cost-effectively deliver DSX-1 and DS3 circuits to cell service providers. The smaRT cabinet features one of the smallest GR-487-CORE, Issue 2 conforming cabinet designs in the industry, making installation easy and cost effective. Using the OPTI-6100 OC-3/OC-12 Multiplexer, this cabinet is capable of providing up to 56 DSX-1s, 3 DS3s, and EoS. This system is fully integrated with an AC power feed, fiber splice panel, rectifier, DSX test access panel, DS3 protection panel, battery backup, and protected loop interfaces. The cabinet has doors for front and rear access and may be pad, pole, wall, or H-frame mounted.
