DS3 Dropoff SONET Backbone
To conserve the port density of high-speed add/drop multiplexers, an ADTRAN® OPTI-6100 OC-3/OC-12 Multiplexer can be placed at a DS3 drop location to provide DS3 or T1 services. This application saves interfaces and allows T1s to be quickly provisioned when needed.
