The OSU 300 is a multiport service unit offering single-mode optics for distances up to 40 km or multi-mode for distances up to 2 km.
The Total Access OPTI-3 is a SONET compliant multiplexer that provides three DS3s in the industry’s smallest and most economical footprint. It's changed the paradigm for carriers to obtain DS3 lines from their backbone network by dramatically reducing the cost compared to the existing legacy solution. The Total Access OPTI-3 offers carriers the possibility of deploying DS3s into their network, breaking down a DS3 into DS1s, extending delivery range by deploying a DS3 directly to a customer premises, or deploying DS3 through a cell site.
