ADTRAN's premier broadband platform, the Total Access 3000 offers a clear and simple path from TDM to ATM (circuit to packet) technology. Developed with modular technology in mind, all MUX and access cards are interchangable into one standardized chassis. Simply by changing out the System Controller Unit (SCU) and the network MUX cards transforms the platform from TDM to ATM. This deployment "choice" option can translate into equipment savings, network savings, and installation/training savings.
