IP Access Routers
ADTRAN’s NetVanta 3000 Series is a line of IP access routers that supports LAN and WAN connectivity for Internet, public and private Frame Relay, and leased line networks at the industry's leading price.
To complement your PBX/KTS, the NetVanta 3000 Series can be thought of as a "CSU with an internal router". These full-featured, low-cost routers include an integral DSU/CSU, a stateful inspection firewall, QoS, optional DSX-1 for PBX/KTS connectivity and dial backup options, along with a familiar command line interface.
Ethernet Switching
The NetVanta 1000 Series of managed Ethernet switches is a full-featured product line suitable for use in Local Area Networks requiring LAN interconnectivity or network segmentation, including Fast Ethernet and Gigabit Ethernet applications. The NetVanta 1000 Series uses the ADTRAN Operating System (OS) pre-installed Standard Feature Pack firmware to provide non-blocking Layer 2 switching functionality, support for Virtual LANs (VLANs), advanced management, and Quality of Service (QoS) capability. This series includes the NetVanta 1224R Layer 2 switch with integral router and WAN interface, 1224STR Layer 2 switch with integral router, WAN interface, and Gigabit uplink, 1224 Layer 2 switch, and 1224ST Layer 2 switch with dual Gigabit uplinks.
VPN/Firewall
Ideal for remote access and work at home applications that complement your PBX/KTS, the ADTRAN NetVanta 2000 Series is a line of VPN/firewall devices that offer secure, low-cost connectivity across the Internet with stateful inspection firewall and internal router. The NetVanta 2000 Series of VPN/firewall products addresses the growing need to secure access to corporate resources over the Internet and protect the network from cyber attacks. The series includes platforms for large corporate host applications, mid-size host or branch office deployment, and Small Office/Home Office (SOHO) applications. Each of these units includes IPSec VPN tunneling, access policies, stateful inspection firewall, cyber assault protection, Network Address Translation (NAT), IP routing, and authenticated remote user access. The NetVanta VPN Client is a software implemented VPN solution for the mobile workforce. It includes a full-featured firewall for laptops or personal computers.
Frame Relay
The IQ Series of managed performance monitoring devices includes features ranging from application monitoring and traffic shaping to standard Frame Relay circuit management and troubleshooting. The IQ 710 is the flagship performance monitoring device. It is a modular, seven-layer (IOS model) traffic identification and shaping platform, with the ability to migrate to higher speed networks as network needs increase.
It is available in 56/64K, T1/FT1, and T1/FT1 versions with TDM voice capabilities. Other members of the IQ family monitor the Frame Relay circuit itself and perform standard Service Level Agreement (SLA) verification.
T1 Voice/Data Consolidation
ADTRAN offers three families of Integrated Access Devices (IADs): ATLAS, Total Access, and TSU. Each has been designed to converge voice, data, video, and Internet traffic, making it easier to improve communications, lower costs, and simplify management of networks.
ATLAS IADs
The ATLAS Series offers the highest capacity and the most advanced set of networking services. This single platform supports multiple technologies, including T1, T3, ISDN, IP routing, and Frame Relay. ATLAS provides dynamic bandwidth allocation, T1 Inverse Multiplexing, ISDN PRI/BRI switching, multiple T1/PRI DACSing and grooming, Frame Relay concentration, compressed voice, T3 applications, and videoconferencing.
ATLAS is also ideal as a complement to the IP PBX for off-loading analog devices such as fax machines and modems as well as ISDN devices to improve performance and migration as you evolve the network from TDM to IP.
Multi-T1, 48-port TDM IAD
The NetVanta 950 is a cost-effective, modular access router with analog, TDM voice support. It is ideal for cost-effective deployment of integrated services for small- and medium-size businesses and benefits both enterprise users and service providers with integrated access offerings. This product supports up to 48 analog FXS interfaces along with an integral IP router that uses the ADTRAN Operating System (OS) for advanced routing functionality. The integral IP router supports all of the same features of the widely deployed series of NetVanta access routers. Two T1 interfaces on the chassis along with six user access slots provide support for TDM voice-only, data-only, or converged voice/data applications. User modules include Octal FXS, FXO, and a 10/100Base-T Ethernet Switch. A T1/V.35 special module can be added for a 3rd T1 or DSX-1 interface. Scalable and easily configurable using a familiar Command Line Interface (CLI), the NetVanta 950 is ideal for consolidating services and reducing costs.
Total Access IADs
The Total Access Series is a carrier-class IAD series that includes fixed-port and modular models packaged in the most economical and compact chassis available. Total Access IADs can be used to deploy voice-only or converged voice/data applications over a T1 or DSL network. The Total Access 1500 Multi-T1 High Density Access Platform provides up to four T1s to the network, high-density POTS support, and special services.
TSU Multiplexers
The ADTRAN TSU Series combines voice and data over a single T1. Organizations with the most complex T1 TDM application will appreciate the full suite of option modules designed to support up to 24 analog voice interfaces along with a broad range of digital voice, data, and video applications.
