Videoconferencing continues to grow in popularity with a need for frequent and secure communications weighing more heavily than ever. The need to communicate with remote locations, while keeping travel expenses in check has steadily increased. Customers are looking to videoconferencing technology to support collaborative efforts, distance learning, and other programs. As videoconferencing demands increase, turn to ADTRAN for industry-leading video over IP as well as full range of video switching, LAN/WAN and termination solutions.
Video over IP Solutions
ADTRAN’s NetVanta 3000/4000/5000 Series provides all the necessary components to engineer a complete LAN/WAN connectivity solution between headquarters and any size branch office. With access routing and wide area connectivity combined into a single, compact chassis, these devices are perfect for Internet access, public and private Frame Relay, private IP, leased line connections, and Virtual Private Networking. Available in desktop or rackmount configurations, these modular devices accommodate line rates ranging from 56 kbps to dual T3.
The NetVanta 1000 Series from ADTRAN is a standards-based, non-blocking Layer 2 switching solution suitable for converged LAN/WAN access, interconnecting LAN devices, for network segmentation, or for powering LAN network devices. The NetVanta 1224STR PoE (Power over Ethernet) is a unique, all-in-one access platform that combines a 24 port Ethernet switch, an IP access router, a modular WAN interface with built-in DSU/CSU, a stateful inspection firewall, and the option for Virtual Private networking (VPN), all in a single 1U chassis. The 1224STR PoE provide 24-port Ethernet and Fast Ethernet switching, with two extra 1000Base-T/SFP Gigabit ports for uplink or stacking capability.
Video over ISDN Solutions
The ATLAS 830 and 890 Integrated Access Devices complement videoconference codecs and gateways by providing video switching, a lower cost WAN access solution, and industry-leading support. ADTRAN’s ATLAS 830 and 890 Integrated Access Devices (IADs) are multi-function network access switches that enable multiple videoconferencing systems to concurrently share Wide Area Network (WAN) bandwidth. ATLAS IADs provide video connectivity for both ISDN and synchronous equipment interfaces. ATLAS eliminates the need for dedicated videoconferencing circuits, which reduces monthly costs. The ATLAS Video switch offers multiple connectivity options including ISDN PRI, BRI, V.35, EIA-530, RS-449 and RS-366 dialing ports. ATLAS also offers BONDING and Inverse Multiplexing to support rates up to 1.472 Mbps.
